London 2017 Photo Journal

Hi Loves,

My #SpringBreak2017 has officially ended, and instead of going to some warm tropical place and getting a tan like most people would do, I went across the pond to London. If you don’t know my best friend is studying in London and she was kind enough to let me stay with her and show me all of her favorite spots in London. By the end of my week I’d fallen in love with London and the English country side. I will definitely have to go back, if not to see my friend again, then for the AMAZING Indian food!

On to the photos:

My Valentine

FullSizeRender (78).jpg

Hi Loves,

It’s Valentine’s Day and I want to be my own Valentine! I honestly love Valentine’s Day even though I’m painfully single right now. Valentine’s Day has always been one of those days I can’t help but celebrate because I have so many people in my life I love and am grateful for. This year I want to focus on the people in my life I love, including myself! Self love is SO important and at this time of year I’m giving myself an extra dose of it. Continue reading

Shell Jewelry Holder DIY

Hi Loves,

I know it sounds silly, but I’ve had dreams of being a mermaid since I was 4 years old. Growing up I always lived next to some kind of water, my first house had a natural waterfall in the back yard and I used to play under it all the time. I’ve always had some connection to water, it relaxes me and makes me feel safe. Last spring break I went down to my Grandmother’s place in Florida and spent some time fishing, kayaking, and taking long walks down to the jetty. Of course I’m one of those people who collects shells while walking down the beach with the hopes of doing some cool DIY projects. Well I’ve finally gathered all the materials I need to do this DIY so let’s do it!

Lip Tips and Tricks

Hi Loves,

My lips are one of my favorite features on my face, so I like to take good care of them. Does this mean I have excessive amounts of lip products? Yes it does. Does this mean that I can give you some good reviews of different lip products? Yes it does! I am currently using 16 lip balms. I know that’s a bit much, but I actually go through lip products quite quickly. I always have one in a jacket pocket, at least one in each of my purses and backpacks, and then a few throughout my room that I can grab easily and throw on before leaving the house. I also have unopened backups that I’m waiting to open until I get down to at least 7 lip balms if not less.Β  Continue reading

Battle of the Face Masks

Hi Loves,

Even though this has been a very odd winter thus far the wind has not been great for my skin. I realized that I’ve collected a few different face masks recently that all look amazing, so I’ve decided to pin them against each other to see which one I like the best. So here is what you need to know about my skin before we get into this. I have combination skin, oily T zone, but my cheeks and around my mouth tend to get very dry. I use the Ponds moisturizer almost every night after I wash my face, but I won’t be using that after these masks unless the instructions direct me to use a moisturizer after. All of these products are available at Sephora and I will have links and prices below.I tried a different mask each night over 4 days to see how they felt, what they smell like, and how they changed my skin (if at all).

The first mask I tried was the Sephora brand Algae Sleeping Mask. I was not sure how it would work, it feels like a gel and had a blue tint to it, and it smells like plants but in a good way. Continue reading

Oh Canada! Photo Journal

Hi Loves,

Remember that time I went to Canada? No? That might be because I never got around to posting my photo journal. Better late than never right? My trip to Canada was a girls trip in the summer of 2016 with my mom, my aunt, and my cousin. We left at 5 am and drove up to Niagara falls, spent some time there then drove over to Toronto. We were in Toronto for a couple of days (I searched for Drake the entire time). We ate some amazing food and saw some pretty cool art. Then we drove over to Montreal where my cousin and I shared our first legal drink, ate some more amazing food, and saw some of the city’s history. When it was time to leave Canada we had one more adventure back in New York before we returned home. We stopped and went hiking then rafting, which are two of my favorite activities. I hope you enjoy the photos!

2016: A Year In Review

Hi Loves,

My initial instinct when I think of 2016 is to say that the year was completely awful, but taking a closer look I have to say I had a lot of fun times this past year. I wanted to take sometime to reflect on the fun bits of the year before I look forward to what 2017 has in store for me.

I started off the year by attending a show that was part of New York Fashion Week. I love fashion, and being in that kind of environment was so fun. I’ve always wanted to go to a NYFW show, so I’m so thrilled I got to check this off my bucket list.
