Hi Loves,

My last post was about looking back at 2016 to appreciate what I was able to do in the year, This post will be about looking forward to 2017 and all the things I hope to achieve this year. I always find it is fun to make bucket lists and see exactly how much I can do in a year.

Goal number 1: Visit a new state – I can’t remember the last time I went to a new state and saw something new and amazing in this country. Some states I’d love to go to are Alabama, Tennessee, Montana, and Colorado. I love going places that have beautiful natural sights and amazing history (I’m a little bit of a history nerd and wannabe Jane from Tarzan).

Goal number 2: Go line dancing – I know seems kind of lame but it’s something I’ve always wanted to do and this year is the year! I always have fun dancing, so learning a new dance would be super fun.

 

Goal number 3: Visit a new National Park – Another one for the history and the sites, national parks are so beautiful and fun, there are a few major ones I’d love to check off my list, but any new National Park will work!

Goal number 4: Go skinny dipping – This is definitely a crazy goal for me, but I figure you should do something wild at least once a year. I can’t say I did anything wild last year, but this year is going to be different!

Goal number 5: Open a Roth IRA – Yeah I know this isn’t exactly a fun goal for many people, but for me it is! The idea of financially stability is about as exciting to me as visiting a new amazing country. Many people may be thinking “Really a retirement fund for a 20 year old?” YES, financial stability is not something to joke about!

I also decided to give up one thing up this year. I’m trying to stop online shopping, it’s getting a little crazy. I’ve always known I was a shopping addict but I’m saving my money now for a bit of a surprise that I’m not sharing yet, but it requires more money than I have saved up right now, so that has to change!
